Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our medical team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Duties:
- Perform CT scans as requested by physicians or radiologists
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Position patients correctly and effectively to capture the necessary images
- Operate and maintain CT equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Review images to ensure quality and accuracy before forwarding them for interpretation
- Maintain patient records and information accurately
Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting CT scans with precision and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of urgent care, diagnostic radiology, and nuclear medicine practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Previous experience in CT technology preferred
